It handles esports titles (CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League) well at 1080p, and runs many other modern titles at 1080p on low-to-medium settings — a real, usable step up from integrated graphics.

16GB RAM — ample memory for gaming, multitasking, and everyday productivity without hitting a ceiling.

512GB M.2 SSD Boot Drive — fast solid-state storage for quick boots and rapid game and application loading.

1TB Secondary HDD — a full terabyte of extra space for a game library, media, and file backups.

HP Small Form Factor Chassis — an unusually compact case to house a discrete GPU, built to enterprise durability standards while still saving significant desk space compared to a full tower.

Windows 10 Pro (Genuine License) — fully licensed and ready to use for work or play immediately.

Compact Power: Strong CPU Meets Honest Entry-Level Gaming

What makes this configuration stand out is the pairing: the i7-6700’s 8 threads are genuinely strong for its era, and combined with the RX 550 you get a machine that’s well-balanced for both productivity and light gaming rather than being bottlenecked on one side. We’ll be straightforward about the RX 550 — it’s a low-power entry-level card, excellent for esports and older or lighter modern titles at 1080p, but not built for maxed-out settings in the newest demanding AAA releases. Within that bracket, though, it delivers a genuinely enjoyable and reliable gaming experience.

This machine suits a wide range of buyers well: gamers on a budget who want solid esports performance, professionals who need strong multi-threaded CPU power for work during the day and the option to game in the evening, or anyone who wants a single compact PC that competently covers both bases instead of buying two separate machines. The small form factor chassis is a genuine bonus here — fitting a real discrete GPU into this footprint isn’t something every refurbished desktop can offer.

Why Buy Refurbished from computahardware.com? A new small form factor PC combining an i7-class processor with a discrete GPU is a rare and expensive combination at retail. Every unit we sell — including the upgraded graphics card — is diagnosed and load-tested before approval, not just powered on and shipped. That thorough process is exactly how we can offer this unusual CPU-and-GPU pairing at a genuinely accessible price rather than new-PC money.

Ready to Use, Straight Out of the Box — this EliteDesk 800 G3 keeps the full complement of business connectivity: multiple USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and display outputs from both the motherboard and the RX 550 card for flexible multi-monitor gaming or productivity setups. Everything is configured and licensed before it ships, so it’s genuinely plug-in-and-play from the first boot.

This is a professionally refurbished unit, tested and verified fully functional prior to sale, including confirmation that the discrete GPU is fully operational. Minor cosmetic wear consistent with prior use may be present but does not affect performance.

Specifications

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700, 4-core / 8-thread, 3.4GHz base / 4.0GHz Turbo Boost, 8MB cache

Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 550, 4GB GDDR5 (discrete)

Memory: 16GB RAM

Storage: 512GB M.2 SSD + 1TB HDD

Form Factor: HP Small Form Factor (SFF) desktop

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (genuine, pre-activated)

Condition: Professionally refurbished, fully tested and functional
